Allan Myers Announces Acquisition of Asphalt Plant in Washington, D.C.
D.C. plant is Myers’ fourth added since 2017; 20th plant in the Mid-Atlantic
February 2, 2021 (Worcester, PA) – Allan Myers, the Mid-Atlantic’s largest heavy civil construction and materials contractor, announced today the acquisition of Roubin & Janeiro’s asphalt plant in Washington, D.C.
“Expanding our asphalt operations to the capital area is a natural fit for us to enhance our existing operations in the mid-Atlantic,” said A. Ross Myers, Chairman and CEO, Allan Myers. “Adding this asset to our business further strengthens our operations in the region and provides significant growth opportunities for our customers and employees, including new employees joining our family from Roubin & Janeiro.”
The new D.C. operation is Myers’ twentieth operating asphalt facility, up 60% since 2014.
