American Infrastructure Receives Baltimore Workforce Investment Board Business Award for Workforce Development Excellence

Baltimore, Maryland and Worcester, Pennsylvania – American Infrastructure, a leading heavy construction company and materials supplier, today announced that it received the Baltimore Workforce Investment Board (BWIB) Business Award for Workforce Development Excellence in the Hire Local (with more than 50 employees) category. Representatives from American Infrastructure accepted the award from Baltimore City Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake at the Chamber of Commerce’s “Annual Breakfast with the Mayor” on Tuesday, August 19 at the Forest Park Golf Course.
The Hire Local category honors businesses that promote hiring by engaging with Baltimore City’s public workforce system. American Infrastructure works through a number of local organizations to hire new employees, including the State Highway Administration’s ‘On the Job Training Program’, Mayor’s Office of Employment Development, Project JumpStart, All-State Careers, and Catholic Charities of Baltimore.
